The value for money at this place was fantastic, and the room itself was absolutely top-notch. The location was perfect, close to the Menai Straits and plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants. The staff treated us like royalty, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast could have been better, just a small improvement would have made a big difference.

From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I was transported back to the glamorous era of the 1920s. The attention to detail in the design and furnishings was incredible. The hotel's grandeur really appealed to my sophisticated taste. Additionally, the wide hallways and spacious rooms made it very easy for me to navigate around the hotel as a senior woman. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a stylish and accessible accommodation.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff in planning activities suitable for senior guests. It would have been helpful if the children working there had provided recommendations for local attractions and ensured that there were activities suitable for older individuals.

The house was spotless and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. We were also impressed with the two large bathrooms, featuring great showers and a gorgeous roll-top bath. The location was also a plus, being quiet and within walking distance of the Menai Strait and a good range of food options.
We had some issues on arrival that were addressed quickly, but there were still a few negatives. The patio door stuck at the bottom, making it difficult to open, and the chilled drinks part of the fridge didn't work properly.

The common areas were spacious and easily accessible for senior guests like me, allowing me to navigate comfortably throughout the hotel.
It would have been even better if there were handrails installed in the wet room showers. This would have provided additional support and stability, making it safer and more convenient for senior guests like myself.
